Casting news about Dexter's fifth season keeps breaking...and we keep scratching our heads.
To be fair, it's the John Lithgow efffect. There was so much hype about Lithgow's Trinity Killer role last season (and rightfully so), that it's hard not to say "meh" when news breaks that Julia Stiles is going to be playing a "mysterious young woman who forms a unique bond with Dexter."
Now comes word that Jonny Lee Miller, who was previously linked to The Walking Dead, before Andrew Lincoln signed on as the lead, will be upping the "mystery" quotient on Dexter this season.
According to the official press release from Showtime, Miler "will play a mysterious man who is intricately involved in the storyline with Julia Stiles' character that will also bring him into Dexter's universe."
Let's not forget that Julia Stiles' character is also "mysterious." That's a whole lot of mystery going on right there. Someone get Angela Lansbury on the case!
