These character couples aren't Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, or even Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson for that matter. These are characters, that against viewers' better judgments and wishes, got together on-screen. Some relationships were cringe-worthy, others just odd, but all should have been avoided at all costs.

Dumping Grounds: Star Wars
It would derail and erase the entire continuity of Star Wars, from Luke Skywalker to Ewok, were Anakin and Padme never to have hooked up, and yet fans of trilogies new and old alike would have given anything to be spared further scenes between Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman.
Wooden, stilted and eye-rollingly tragic, we deserved better than a half-imagined love story between a young Naboo Queen and the toddler slave she'd bone in ten years. Though in his defense, he had to put the moves on her eventually. Because she wasn't like sand.
