The Miami beat and the cast of Burn Notice are so hot, we're about to get a burning Bush of a guest star. Boy, I'll never get tired of those Burn Notice / heat puns.
All kidding aside, Entertainment Weekly reports that legendary grunge rocker, Bush frontman and husband to Gwen Stefani Gavin Rossdale will join an upcoming episode of Burn Notice's fifth season! Rossdale will appear as "Armand, a wealthy and powerful villain with a hand in nefarious projects all over the world. Fiona goes to him for help - but he'll only provide assistance if she helps him with a major heist job."
Also joining the eighth episode of the new season is NCIS player David Dayan Fisher, who plays "a ruthless and ambitious mercenary." Descriptive. Burn Notice is hardly the first acting gig for Gavin Rossdale, who had previously appeared in 2005's Constantine, and an episode of Criminal Minds, among others.
Rossdale and Fisher join other guest stars slated for the fifth season, including Friday Night Lights' Matt Lauria, massive WWE star The Big Show in episode four, as well as former Grey's Anatomy star Lauren Stamile in a major recurring role as a CIA agent opposite Michael Westen. Joining the group for season five are Grant Show (Private Practice, Big Love) as CIA operative Max and returning Dylan Baker (Spider-Man 2, Kings), who plays Michael's shadowy handler "Raines."
Fiona Glenanne (Gabrielle Anwar) and Sam Axe (Bruce Campbell) will of course return for the show as well, alongside new series regular Coby Bell as fellow burned agent Jesse Porter.
But that's not all! Check out below for a brand new look at the fifth season (it's actually a promo we've already seen, but in much better quality!) and don't forget to check out the June 23rd season premiere "Company Man."
