A disgraced New York cop takes a job as the night watchman of an abandoned department store and finds something wicked creeping around in the reflective surfaces.

Why You Need It:

Kiefer Sutherland brings his trademark intensity to this gruesome horror outing from director Alexandre Aja, whose The Hills Have Eyes remake certainly didn't pull any punches. The film is beautifully designed, and co-star Paula Patton, as Sutherland's estranged wife, is just plain beautiful; Amy Smart's death scene (which involves her tearing open her own jaw) is already the stuff of horror movie legend. Best of all, the climactic battle, which involves a possessed nun, is completely insane.
