For every studly heartthrob out there making ladies' hearts sing, there are two lazy slobs balancing the scales with humor. Funny fat guys go all the way back to Shakespeare's hilarious Falstaff. We may never fully understand what makes fat guys so inherently funny, but we're happy to have them. No matter how pretty Ryan Gosling becomes, we'd much rather spend an evening hanging out with Louis C.K. Here are the eleven best funny fat guys in TV and movies.

We only really know Eric Stonestreet from his role as Cameron on Modern Family (or maybe you caught his brief American Horror Story appearance). But with a character like Cam, that's all you need.
For all the funny fat actors we've had, few have mined the comic potential found within the big gay cuddly type. You know they're out there, and they're hilarious. It took Eric Stonestreet to finally get a good one on television, and he pretty much steals every episode. Particularly when Fizbo shows up.
