Loren Visser, a man whose name is known only because of the "Loren" engraved on his cigarette lighter, is a sleazy private investigator hired by Julian Marty, who suspects his wife Abby is having an affair with one of his employees. Visser takes photos of Abby and her lover, Ray, having passionate sex, and after showing the photos to Julian, the enraged cuckold tells Visser to kill them both. If Visser had actually murdered the young lovers when he had the chance instead of doctoring up fake photos of their dead bodies, things might've gone well for the fella and he'd be $10,000 richer. But it doesn't matter who you are - the Pope of Rome, the President of the United States or Man of the Year - things can go very, very wrong, and usually do when crime is involved.
