David Breckinridge is the head of the Secret Service Protective Intelligence Division. He and his rookie partner, Jill Marin, are assigned to investigate a plot to assassinate the President in which the conspirators are receiving information from a mole in the Secret Service itself. Breckinridge soon targets Pete Garrison as his number-one suspect, a veteran agent and one of the personal bodyguards of the First Lady, with whom he is having an affair. Will Pete be able to prove his innocence without revealing the affair, or will Breckinridge keep hammering him until he breaks? Since Breckinridge is played by the same guy who plays Jack Bauer on 24, you know he plays dirty - and pretty much always gets his man.
