Richard was a backpacker looking for an adventure far from the civilized world when he encountered the crazy Daffy at a Thailand hostel. Daffy ranted about the parasites of society and told tales of a hidden beach paradise before committing suicide. It turns out that Daffy wasn't all crazy, though, as before he died, he left Richard a map to this supposed beach paradise - and, wouldn't you know it, Richard and his two French pals, Etienne and Francoise, found it. The three travelers discover that Daffy was a resident of the beach before the pressures of even paradise became too much for him to bear. It's no wonder, too, as Richard soon discovers that paradise has a heavy price.
