Gods. Titans. And the mortals caught between the two. Tarsem Singh's Immortals is a visually stunning action film with a great cast and some incredible battle sequences. But is that enough to make it the Best Movie Ever? Here at UGO, we're firm believers in giving each and every movie a chance at the top of the heap, so let's run through the high points of this flick. It sounds dangerous? What do you want to do, live forever?

At the end of Immortals, after the dust clears, Phaedra is left standing and pregnant with Theseus's son Acamas. But don't think that life is going to be peaceful for the tot - he's visited by Zeus in the old man guise we first met him in, and the King of the Gods tells the sprout that it's going to be his destiny to fight evil like his father. He looks up into the sky and sees a tremendous battle of Gods and Titans waiting for him to pick up the sword. It just goes to show you that good stories, like immortals, are never over.
