Toy Fair Hasbro Preview

Hasbro has been nice enough to tease us with the latest toys from Marvel, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, and more! Let's take a look at the best they had to offer.

Start saving your cash because some pretty awesome merch is coming your way in 2012. Marvel is going all out with toys to promote Marvel's The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man, and they're bringing back fan favorites like Marvel Legends and more. Over in a galaxy far, far away, the Star Wars universe is unleashing the force with a vast amount of new character toys and of course, lightsabers to smack around our friends. The Hasbro event had tons to offer, but for now here's a look at the highlights.

Snake Eyes

Snake Eyes

You likely already have a Snake Eyes toy or two, but the character is so badass that you won't mind adding more to the collection. Besides, few things are more epic than an army of the ninja. Today we got a look at a plethora of new toys for the G.I. Joe favorite, ranging from the 3.75 inch figures to an almost foot tall figure that can quick draw his firearms or sword. This is looking to be a big year for the silent man, so let's pray the next G.I. Joe movie is every bit as awesome as he is.

Spider-Man

Paper Bag Spider-Man

Best. Variant. Ever. Your Spider-Man collection can finally be considered complete! Throw out that crappy customized Bag Head Spider-Man toy you made because you can finally add the real deal to your shelf. I'll fill you in if you're one of the many wondering "why the hell is he wearing a Fantastic Four costume with a bag on his head and no shoes?" Long story short, Pete was without a costume, so his buddy, the Human Torch, hooked him up with some of the best technology he has to offer: a basic F4 attire and a paper bag with eyeholes cut out. It's just too bad Spidey didn't get shoes because I'd rather fight Venom than walk around barefoot in Manhattan.

The Lizard

The Lizard

The Amazing Spider-Man's villain is finally showing his ugly face. The Lizard made some quick cameos in the trailer, but now we're getting a far more detailed look at the classic foe. There's obviously some changes from his comic counter-part, but on the big screen he looked every bit as intimidating as the Lizard should appear. Don't forget to become an expert on the character by reading The Amazing Spider-Man: Lizard Facts

Hawkeye

Hawkeye Bow And Arrow

You don't need Hawkeye's perfect accuracy to feel like a total boss with this toy. The Avenger's weapon of choice will be yours to own and rejoice in taking aim at your friends. Unfortunately, we doubt it'll come with Clint's trick arrows, such as explosive and sonic, but hey, nerfs will more than suffice for now.

Jar Jar Binks

Jar Jar Binks In Carbonite

Could this be the best toy ever? We all wish for horrible things to happen to Jar Jar Binks, and this toy appeals to our fanboy hatred. The fool from The Phantom Menace managed to find himself in Han Solo's situation, and here's hoping no one loves him enough to free him from the captivity. It is with a heavy heart that I tell you this toy is only available at San Diego Comic Con this year. But, if you're insanely wealthy there's always the chance to get an overpriced one on ebay!
