Vitals

As if to model itself after its retail counterpart, this week's downloadable offerings are pretty slim. Fortunately, most of the platforms have a little something going on and we intend to give you the best of what we can find in this week's Virtual Goods. So here are our picks for which intangible games you should be spending your money on this week:

Mass Effect 2 Game Add-on: "Kasumi - Stolen Memory" (Xbox 360, PC)

As if Mass Effect 2 wasn't a big enough game, BioWare have released their first round of expansion content for the game, "Kasumi - Stolen Memory." This pack has the whole shebang: a new plot line and planet to explore, character for your squad, weapon, research and achievement. If you need a new excuse to head back to outer space, helping out one of the galaxy's master criminals is about as good as they come. (560 MS Points or $7)

Game & Watch  (DSiWare)

The Game & Watch games return to DSiWare this week with three additional titles to add to March 22's releases. If you were a fan of LCD games back in the '80s, or even if you just want to take a look at where Nintendo go their start, you should really pick up one, if not all six of them. They're simple, fun and addictive; everything a game should be. (200 Wii Points each: Game & Watch: Manhole, Game & Watch: Helmet, Game & Watch: Vermin)

Freekscape: Escape From Hell
(PSP)

Hell seems to be a popular gaming destination this year, with Dante's Inferno sending you deep into the bowels of it, this week's PSP Mini pick actually has you trying to escape it. Freekscape: Escape From Hell puts you in the shoes of an unhappy demon as he tries to make his way out of the pit of never ending sorrow in this 2D/3D puzzle platformer that has you using your enemies as tools to solve puzzles. It's got a bit of a Klonoa feeling to it, just much, much darker. ($4.99)

Just Cause 2
Game Add-on: "Chevalier Ice Breaker"

If you haven't played Just Cause 2 yet, you're missing out on a lot of grappling hook fun. As if the game's virtually constant explosions weren't enough, the super nice folks over at Square Enix are offering the Just Cause 2's first piece of downloadable content free of charge, and it's a doozie. Grab Rico a cool ride with this pimped out ice cream truck to take to the streets of Panau with vengeance and soft serve. (Free: Xbox 360, PS3)

The Tester Season Finale (PSN)

Sony's first foray into creating an original reality show exclusively for the PlayStation Network has officially come to an end, as The Tester's season finale "aired" this week. Jump on PSN and give this week's episode a download to a recap of everything you've missed this season, as well as who gets the prestigious title of game tester at Sony. (Free)

Flower Soundtrack (PS3, PSP)

2009's Flower was one of the most unique and relaxing titles of all time, and now Sony is offering you the ability to enjoy some of that relaxation outside of the game itself. For just $2.99 you can download the soundtrack to the award winning game and enjoy its soothing sounds whenever you want from the comfort of your PS3 or PSP. ($2.99)
