What Is It: Marvel's unprecedented team-up brings together Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk and, most importantly, Clark Gregg, for a movie that fans' imaginations can only describe as epic. Whether they can pull it off is another story, but manning the director Joss Whedon is going to give it the old college try. The movie began production on the film a few weeks ago and is slated for release next May.

What to Expect at Comic-Con:
Something big. Bigger than big. Bigger than The Hulk, even. Marvel has never skimped on SDCC offerings, last year alone they previewed the first Thor footage in 3-D, a scene from Captain America shot a mere eight days into production and assmbling all The Avengers on stage for a grand finale. With The Avengers being the only movie they currently have in production, they'll be properly imploding Hall H with goodies, likely to include the full cast and a shot of the entire team in costume, together at least!

What We'd Love to See: It wouldn't be fair to ask for anything else. OK, fine -- a Skrull.
