It beats drinking Water Joe.

If I had written this article the same day I ate these, it would have consisted primarily of "OH MY GOD YOU GUYS I AM SO HYPER RIGHT NOW" and unanswered requests to go go-karting. Okay, just to check, would you actually go go-karting with me if I wanted? No bumping, though: I'm sensitive.

I really can't get enough of these highly caffeinated brownies and cookies from ThinkGeek, baked by the fine people at A Snack in the Face. Each packs 200 mg of "pharmaceutical grade caffeine" (good, I'm tired of street caffeine cut with laundry detergent).

The box's inside flap says "Prepare yourself." I lol'd it off, until I bit into the most delicious pre-packaged brownie and cookie I have ever had in my life. And you are rolling with a bitch who has eaten a lot of pre-packed brownies and cookies. As such, these are not lo-cal, and pack around 250 calories per serving (each brownie and cookie is two servings).

I'm telling you it's worth it, though. The caffeine high isn't a huge rush then a downer, like with a pill or an energy drink. It's a long-lasting, smooth ride. I'm no science genius, but maybe the long process of digestion has something to do with how the caffeine felt like it was on extended release. Look, I don't do drugs, so just let me have this, okay?

You can get the brownies and cookies individually for $3.99 each, or a two-pack with one of each flavor for $5.99. Just make interweb tracks to the ThinkGeek site.
