Japan Gets All the Best Stuff

My PlayStation 3 is black. Yours too? Yeah. That's kind of the way it's going in North America.

Of course, if you live in Sony's native Japan, you should probably get to trading in your PS3 (you know, if you haven't done so already). That's because you'll clearly want this red and gold lovely, the first official PS3 release to feature multiple colors.

The limited edition console is for RPG Tales of Xillia--both game and related console will be on sale September 8th in Japan. You might have heard of a few other games in the Tales RPG series, like Tales of Symphonia or Tales of Vesperia. The game hasn't been announced for North America as of yet, but when it does, I can guarantee we won't be getting this console.

The limited edition console will cost around $470 (37,980 yen) and come with a copy of the game. If you're hardcore, there are a bunch of pre-order bonuses including figures and 15th anniversary alternate costumes.
