A very long time ago, in a world remembered by only the creepiest and most elderliest gamers, the Sonic the Hedgehog people made consoles of their very own. Silly, yes, but such dreams of madmen did once come true.
In an era dominated by the Nintendo Game Boy, Sega also made a handheld called the Game Boy. Though ignorant children like myself suspected it was the first time color gaming had ever been portable, that honor belonged to the Atari Lynx (yes, in an even more distant universe, they too made hardwares).
Perhaps now you can understand how fully awesome this customized Game Gear from gamer and artist Oskunk is. If you can get over Sonic's giant orb and the doubled-up neon green eyehole, you'll realize this is the boss way to play Shaq Fu on the go.
Oskunk does plenty of custom systems, all great without exception. You can see his or her work at the Oskunk blog. It's in French, but don't let that ruin it for you. Make sure to click on the pretty picture, or else you're going to miss all of the Robotnik/Eggman.
Customized Sega Game Gear Makes Us Actually Want a Game Gear
How is it possible that something so bodacious came from France?
