Tuesday marks the release day every week for new DVD and Blu-ray movies. To save you time and precious energy that you could be using to build a tree house or learn a new language (or finish getting all the achievements in Batman: Arkham Asylum -- just sayin'), we've compiled a list of the best DVDs to grab this week. So hit "pause" on your console and get a move on!
Planet Hulk Blu-ray
Based on the Incredible Hulk comic miniseries written by Greg Pak that reinvigorated Hulk comics, Planet Hulk sees the Hulk jettisoned into space towards a lush, uninhabited planet by Iron Man and the Illuminati for the good of Earth. But a gamma-sized temper tantrum knocks Hulk's spacecraft off-course and lands him on the vicious planet Sakaar where he must fight for his life against monsters like himself. $17.99
The Wolfman (1941): Special Edition
Benicio Del Toro brings the Wolfman to life in a remake of the Universal monster film on February 12th. But in case the remake sucks (can you say "endless reshoots"?), grab the special edition of the 1941 classic starring the original dog-faced boy, Lon Chaney Jr. $19.99
Universal Solider: Regeneration Blu-ray
We've wanted a rematch between JCVD and Dolph Lundgren almost as much as we want a rematch between JCVD and Vincent Klyn (Google him, Smarty Pants). And it's been 17 years in the making, but the wait was worth it. Now the old "UniSols" have to take out the new model. Action, mayhem and explosions ensue. Check with your doctor before ingesting. $22.99
Zombieland Blu-ray
The critically acclaimed zombie action comedy that was almost a television series (Wiki it, Smarty Pants!) tells the story of four survivors of the zombie apocalypse and the rules they must live by to stay alive. Like Rule #1: Cardio; 'cause, y'know, zombies can run now. And Rule #21: Avoid strip clubs; they'll take all your cash and also your flesh. That one's pretty much true even before the zombie apocalypse, trust us. $23.49
Blu-sday: New Releases Include Planet Hulk, Zombieland, Wolfman
Tuesday is DVD release day, but our title sounds catchier. See which new Blu-ray discs and DVDs releases you've got to pick up this week.
