Who doesn't enjoy a good beer before or after looking for that rare vinyl copy of the Beatles' Yesterday and Today with the front cover of the dismembered baby dolls and hunks of meat? On Saturday, July 9th, the Sunset Strip will kick off the summer season with a "Craft Beer Garden and Record Swap."
The Record Swap event will begin on July 9 at noon at LIVE! On Sunset, which is the former location of the late/great Tower Records, while the Craft Beer Garden will be hosted in the James Lot, between the Hustler store and 9000 Sunset building. Early bird admission for the Record Swap will be $15, or $10 with the donation of a nonperishable food item (admission is free after 2:00 p.m).
The ColLAborationCraft Beer Garden will run on July 9, 16, and 23 from 12-9 PM.
In a press release, Todd Steadman (the Executive Director of the Sunset Strip Business Association), had the following to say. "That's a natural-music lovers on The Sunset Strip are what made this Boulevard. And to host this event at the former Tower Records location is going to be a blast."
