Which criteria would you use if you were asked to pick the coolest Star Wars character from the two film trilogies? It's a question we've been wrestling with for a while now, mostly to procrastinate having to answer the obvious follow-up question: who is the best Star Wars character? Thankfully, we're not going to have to answer either one. You are. In honor of the coming of Clone Wars we're turning to you dear UGO readers in the hopes that you can make the hard choices and come up with an impossible answer to the question of which Star Wars character is cooler than all others. Princess Leia
Leia Organa isn't actually a proper princess. She was just raised as one when she and her brother Luke were separated at birth, both to protect them from their father Darth Vader and to preserve the future of the decimated Jedi Order. Leia was raised among the Alderaanian nobility as a diplomat, but she's no pampered brat. The simple robes of a public servant are her preferred mode of dress, but Leia is equally at home when disguised as a bounty hunter, conducting special ops as commando, or chained to a Hutt's throne wearing nothing more than a gold-lined two-piece. We just wish she called that last one "home" more often. She may not be a first-class warrior, but Leia has managed to be in the right place, at the right time often enough to have saved her friends several times over.
