Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is somewhat like Crimson Skies. Two problems. 1. "Somewhat" doesn't cut it. Crimson Skies has a huge expanded universe and plenty of stories to tell. The world is beautifully detailed, and with the right cast and crew, this could turn into quite the memorable film or even films. 2. Sky Captain didn't get even a thousandth of the recognition and praise that it deserved. Personally, I love the alternate-history genre - and with Bioshock Infinite well on its way, it looks like others do too.
