Oh, speaking of Bioshock
Infinite, whatever happened to that Bioshock film Gore Verbinski was so excited about? The R-rating happened. With so much
potential blood, gore and psychological horror, they just couldn't find the
studio to back them without knocking the film down to a PG-13. Whoever decided
not to bow down to Hollywood studio whims, I thank you! Can you imagine Bioshock as a PG-13 film? Oh, and while
we're at it, let's remake The Thing...
again ... but this time knock it down to a safe, marketable PG. You know, for
kids!
But back to the potential of a good BioShock film. It would have a great story, great steampunk visuals and a very Atlas Shrugged-esque anti-establishment
aesthetic. Oh, and Big Daddy.
