Top 50 Famous Cars

From film, television, video games, music and comics, these are the cars you love.

There are a lot of cool cars out there. But even focusing just on the world of fiction, there are enough in the history of film, television, video games, music and comics that we could dedicate a month-long feature to them and still only crack the surface. Hell, we could dedicate an entire week's worth of content to every car that appeared in Transformers. Unfortunately, we cannot indulge in such things, but we've parked 50 rides in the garage that you've got to take for a spin. They're fast. They're furious. Just leave the keys in the ignition when you're done.

Spider-Man's Spider-Mobile

If Batman has the Batmobile, it's only sporting that Spidey got his own ride, too - at least for a little while. Corona Motors approached Spidey about building a tricked-out dune buggy complete with web-shooters, a Spider-Signal spotlight and ejection seats to aid in his fight against crime. At first, Spidey thought it was a lame idea, but since he could always use the scratch (J. Jonah Jameson is a notorious cheapskate, after all), he changed his mind and went for it. Along with his hip and happening buddy, Johnny Storm (The Human Torch), the two superheroes designed the ultimate crime-fighting car, which Corona built. The Spider-Mobile saw some action, but one fateful day, Spidey was driving while under the influence of one of Mysterio's hallucinations and drove the super-car off a dock and into the drink. The Spider-Mobile was salvaged by the criminal mechanic, The Tinkerer, and it was unleashed, under remote control, as an instrument of terror to take out Spider-Man once and for all. You know, that old chestnut.
