The WWE Biopic?

Paul Furfari: Where do you see yourself going after your pro wrestling career, more movies?

John Cena: Fishing. I'm going to relax. I'm going to do this (wrestling) for quite some time, as long as I physically can. I'll be a member of the WWE, an active member of the WWE for as long as I can perform at the level I'm currently at. When it's time to go, it's time to go, but I won't go at all before then. I'm going to try to continue to do both (wrestling and movies).

Paul Furfari: Are there any passion projects that you'd like to do?

John Cena: An element that I'd like to see done, is dramatic, biographical pieces on some of our famous wrestlers, some of our famous icons. I'd like to see an Andre the Giant piece, I know there's a Gorgeous George piece that's in the making and I'd like to see a "Life of Hulk Hogan" or Vince McMahon. Those are very interesting stories to tell about our industry that will never get made, but I hope someone changes their mind.

Paul Furfari: There have been a lot of books about that.

John Cena: Yeah, but I think we do our best work visually man.

Paul Furfari: If you could play any pro wrestler, who would you play?

John Cena: I would really love to play Ric Flair.

Paul Furfari: Ric Flair? You've got to get a wig.

John Cena: I would gladly wear the wig every day. He had a very exciting life.

Paul Furfari: A lot of wrestlers have gone into acting. You have Big Show, The Rock led the way in some ways...

John Cena: You've got Austin, Ted DiBiase Jr., Randy Orton has a film coming up, Edge has a film coming up, there are a lot of them.

Paul Furfari: Do you guys every talk before a WWE event, pass some filming war stories around?

John Cena: Dude, it's all taboo. We work so hard in our industry. Getting a movie role or going to film and TV is viewed as the golden ticket. It's like "You're getting time off?" It's almost like a soldier getting some leave time. "We're still here in the trenches man, where are you going?" It's a very, very taboo subject. There's not a lot of movie talk around the WWE locker room.
