Kind of an important bust. How could he forget?
In the original A Nightmare on Elm Street we are told that Freddy gets away with his crime because the arresting police officers didn't have a signed warrant, but the TV series Freddy's Nightmares contradicts this in the pilot, No More Mr. Nice Guy. In that episode the arresting officer Lt. Tim Blocker fails to read Krueger his Miranda rights. You would figure that Freddy would be grateful for his incompetence, but NO. In true psychopathic fashion, Freddy kills even the incompetent, taking Blocker in his dreams when he is put to sleep for a dental procedure. Psychopaths are such complicated people.
They really know how to deal out the PUN-ishment. Oh that is rich!
In Wildstorm Comics' Freddy vs Jason vs Ash Freddy takes it up a notch when he lays his hands on the Necronomicon from the Evil Dead films. If you thought Freddy liked to throw the puns around in his movies, wait till you see what happens when you pair him with Ash. Needless to say a lot of people "Lose their heads" figuratively as well as literally.
Freddy needs a better agent.
In the Adult Swim comedy series, Robot Chicken Freddy makes multiple appearances. Probably his most memorable though is in the episode That Hurts Me. The episode is a spoof of Big Brother and features a who's who of slasher horror with appearance by Jason Voorhess, Michael Myers, Ghostface, Pinhead and Leatherface. The normally wisecracking Freddy is surprisingly subdued in this crew. Putting up with such indignities as having his signature sweater shrunk by Ghostface and being stabbed repeatedly and annoyingly by Myers.
