Hoffman stands alone!
Actually, I have no idea what the critical consensus of Surrogates will be - but it felt like I was the only one who was digging it at the (very small) screening I attended. But that's because I'm the only one who is cool enough to get this movie. (I said it!)
It's a bit of a shame this is coming out just a few short weeks after that piece of dreck Gamer, because there are some very surface similarities. But this is actually a real movie. It is well thought out and it is a rich and full experience.
