What Antoin Fuqua and Clive Owen did for Arthurian legend with their 2004 "real life" action flick King Arthur, Ridley Scott and his scruffy muse Russell Crowe aim to do with the latest iteration of Robin Hood (but with a dash of that Gladiator/Kingdom of Heaven pizzaz).
I'm still not sure what the spin is in this particular version of the story, but from what I can tell it's sure to feature less singing anthropomorphic animals and more sword-to-chainmail clashing. Personally, I always have $12 set aside for any opportunity to see Russell Crowe scream in fury.
