Jeremy Renner has let slip to MTV what fans should expect
when Hawkeye shoots onto the screen as part of The Avengers - and the color
"purple" does not enter into the equation.
Renner said, "I think it's going to be a little more
reality-based. You can kind of tell with Scarlett [Johansson]'s character [in Iron Man 2], it's going to be more of a uniform . . . and not a big purple,
comics sort of thing."
He also goes on to hint that Hawkeye and Scarlett's Black
Widow will develop a romance amid their superhero hijinks. So what does this
statement lead us to ponder? Well, the fact that he will be in a similar black
uniform to Widow leads me to think Marvel's The Avengers might have a more UNIFORM look
altogether, ala X-Men, once Thor, Captain America, etc decide to get the band
together.
