Years have passed since the introduction of the illustrated literature form that became comic books, and now we can enjoy the fruits of progress that the medium has endured. While the process of changing an existing work into a motion comic is not new, and was done very successfully with Watchmen, the fact that Marvel is debuting a comic series as a motion comic first is not something to scoff at.
iTunes has Spider-Woman #1 debuting as episodic motion comic content. Episode 1 has been up for a little while, but Episode 2 just went up today. The manipulation of Alex Maleev's awesome art, and the always good writing of Brian Michael Bendis is sure to drive fans who want to get in on this story before it hits the old school comic route.
