There Are No Small Roles, Only Small Actors

We're not quite sure if Zelda's a dwarf, but we're sure we can't remember any lady smaller and more awesome onscreen. She makes this list for one particularly iconic role, that of Poltergeist medium Tangina Barrons who unforgettably (and incorrectly) proclaims "This house is clean" after Diane and Carol Anne fall through the ceiling covered in amniotic fluid from the dark side. It's one of the greatest moments in one of the greatest horror flicks of all-time, and it was Rubinstein's first appearance on the big screen. She's since appeared in dozens of television shows, and had brief roles in Sixteen Candles, Southland Tales, and National Lampoon's Last Resort.
