If anybody on this list ever had or will have a chance at winning a best actor Oscar, Dinklage is the guy. Not because he's the tallest guy on this list, but because he's got talent. For years working off-Broadway where his stature was at least somewhat overlooked in favor of his craft, Peter Dinklage became The Dwarf to put in your movie after drunkenly stepping on top of the bar in The Station Agent and shouting, "Take a good look!" He elicited plenty of sympathy in that role, but more rare for a little actor, he got laughs that were in no way mean-spirited. Dinklage has range - though one particular blogger thinks otherwise, claiming "Peter Dinklage only plays midgets with the most refined, exquisite taste and the best stupid names." We think he can do more. He takes on more than mythical creatures and small children, for one, and he plays one of the best movie characters of the past decade in Miles Finch, the ball-breaking children's author in Elf. This is a little man with a big future.
Height: 4' 5"
Greatest Role: Finbar Mcbride in The Station Agent
