Tarantino doesn't waste time in The Bride's hunt for her four assailants. First on the list: Vernita Green.
Kill Bill teaches us that assassins are like any other people, and it's none more evident than with Green, a knife pro turned housewife. Most revenge movies find two adversaries going head to head in a bar, a boxing ring, or a back alley. Tarantino pits his lady killers smack dab in the middle of your typical suburban household, with blades from a culinary knife set being the weapons of choice. In true Tarantino style, the scene is hilarious, gripping and capped with a moment of sensitivity: Green's daughter witnessing her mother's death. Seeeequeeeellllll (which he actually confirmed at SDCC 2006).
