Girl films often feature sincere expressions of love and friendship, but these sentiments paint pictures of female perfection that don't really exist in the real world. Just as often, girls choose to express themselves through sheer cruelty. Mean Girls gets that, and makes it hilarious.
Written by 30 Rock's Tina Fey and featuring the incredible Tim Meadows, there's really nothing to hate about Mean Girls' take on high school politics. And, aside from Machete, it's the only must-see Lindsay Lohan movie out there.
