While Kick-Ass will plant the crazy idea that anyone is cut out to wear a mask and beat up mobsters, Defendor will (hoepfully) bring them back to reality.
In the case of Arthur (Woody Harrelson), his obsession to roam the streets, sniffing out crime inevitably gets him in a heap of trouble with his friends, family and the law. While it has a few laughs, Defendor isn't Meteor Man (which is not to say, I don't love Meteor Man). It's dark - considering Arthur teams up with a prostitute played by Kat Dennings while his mental state begins to unravel.
