We always knew that nothing good could come of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean films. Sure, they made kajillions of dollars, but they've also legitimized every attempt to make a movie out of an unlikely subject, be it a boardgame, old toy or even an amusement park ride. Case in point: Disney's new movie, The Hill.
Based on the Matterhorn (Matterhorn Bobsleds if you're nasty) ride in Disneyland's Fantasyland, the movie is to be written by Jason Dean Hall, who wrote the 2009 film Spread, starring Ashton Kutcher and Anne Heche, prompting us to ask "There was a 2009 movie starring Ashton Kutcher and Anne Heche?" As might be expected of a movie based on a ride that sends park visitors on a toboggan trip by automatronic, growling Yetis, the movie will see five adventurers climb a mountain infested wtih the cryptozoological monsters.

Hopefully this will bring us one step closer to that Urban Yeti adaptation.
Finally, because no article like this is complete without it, an obligatory reference to a similar, but worse idea for a film: What, did someone already call dibs on the Enchanted Tiki Room? WOCKA WOCKA WOCKA!
