I was a Roberto Orci fan before I even knew I was a Roberto Orci fan.
I bet you were too: growing up, I had a mild addiction to Xena: Warrior Princess and the Bruce Campbell show Jack of All Trades. Later in life, when The Island, Legend of Zorro and Mission Impossible: III were all hitting theaters between 2005 - 06, IMDB helped me realize that - gasp - all of these projects were masterminded by the same people who had brought me those oddball fantasy shows of my past! The duo of Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman.
Orci and Kurtzman are currently some of the biggest writers in Hollywood, penning the two Transformers films, J.J. Abrams' Star Trek and producing TV hits like Fringe and Hawaii 5-0. Their new film Cowboys & Aliens looks to preserve the classic storytelling techniques hinted at in Trek and Bob was on set to greet us with open arms and explain he and Kurtzman's vision for the genre-bending summer tentpole.
