The good people at SlashFilm have confirmed what has long been suspected: that The First Avenger: Captain America will be largely a World War II tale.
Director Joe Johnston said that almost all of the screentime in Captain America will be set during WWII, but there will be a bookending device.
Considering the best part of X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the title-sequence through the ages, including a WWII tour, this is intruiging. It also has us wondering who from the Marvel Universe will appear during those "bookend" sequences.
