Best Movie Ever: Terminator 2: Judgment Day

He told you he'd be back, but he forgot to mention just how impressive his return would be! Director James Cameron's follow-up to his science fiction classic is not only a worthy sequel, but many say it completely surpasses The Terminator.

Returning to what is disputably Arnold Schwarzenegger's best role, Terminator 2 blew away audiences with its state-of-the-art technology, brutal action sequences and one hell of a fun story. The movie could amaze you with its sweet robot-on-robot violence one minute, then have you laughing the next at the conversations between a younger John Conner and the T800. The film even has the ability to make you shed a tear at one of the most memorable conclusions of the 90s. Unlike Arnold, it truly is impressive how well the movie has stood the test of time. Two decades later and the sequel is still vastly superior to a majority of modern movies. Take off your clothes (just wait... let me explain) because you're going to time travel back to 1991 to experience Best Movie Ever: Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

2029

This legendary movie kicks off with a look at the horrific future humanity will face. The post apocalyptic wasteland littered with human skulls is no place to raise a child. Skynet machines are always hunting for humans, and resistance forces attempt to fight back against the seemingly impossible odds. The end result is always the same: lot of lasers, explosions, and of course, casualties.

Bad To The Bone

Ever wonder what would happen if a Terminator walked into SAMCRO and wanted one of their cuts? Well, Terminator 2: Judgment Day shows you. No matter how tough you are or how many modern weapons you're bringing to the table, it doesn't mean jack when throwing down with one of these machines that were built specifically to slaughter humans. There's no shame in losing to a Terminator... but a naked one? That's just a little embarrassing.

T-1000

The T-1000 is the quintessential villain. Steadfast by its goals and virtually unstoppable, it was a joy ride to watch Robert Patrick act as a concerned officer one minute, then do a 180 the next minute and turn into an emotionless killer . Few foes could entertain as much as the liquid metal antagonist did as he hunted down John Conner, slaughtered innocents and engaged in some epic encounters with the T-800.

Chase Scene

A film can't label itself an action movie without at least one chase sequence and Terminator 2: Judgment Day most certainly delivers. Connor's on the run from the T-1000 (who is wrecking through just about everything in a truck), and then the T-800 decides to spice it up by jumping in the fray via his motorcycle and shotgun. Connor lives to see another day, but the same can't be said for the countless shopping carts that were in the path of the truck.

Come With Me If You Want To Live

Sarah Connor's escape from the hospital is not only an awesome action scene, but also includes one of the most memorable lines in movie history. "Come with me if you want to live" is promptly followed by yet another display of the impressive assortment of the T-1000's capabilities as it chases down John, Sarah, and the T-800. I don't know about you, but I was astonished the first time I saw the T-1000 casually walk through the bars.
