It's a proven fact—Bill Murray can do absolutely no wrong, and that goes double for his role as Frank Cross in the ridiculously underrated (and ridiculously '80s) holiday classic, Scrooged. Granted, riffs on "A Christmas Carol" are as common as annoying Old Navy ads during the holiday season, but like we said, Bill Murray can do no wrong! Also, it's nice to remind yourself that the former lead singer of the New York Dolls (David Johansen) plays The Ghost of Christmas Past in it.

We're willing to bet American dollars that even the most cynical hipster amongs us can't get through the first 10 minutes of Elf without laughing at least once. Come on—giant, goofy Will Ferrell in a tiny elf-sized shower? Trying to sleep on his tiny elf-sized bed? Squeezing into a tiny elf-sized school desk? See—you're laughing to yourself just thinking about it!

Proving that even goths love Christmas, Tim Burton's take on the holiday season has transcended "cult" status and is now considered a timeless holiday classic—because current rights-holder Disney says so, dammit! But in all seriousness, it's all too easy to get wrapped up in Jack Skellington's quest to bring a little holiday cheer to Halloween Town.

Chances are Comedy Central will be playing Bad Santa at least once during the month of December, and if you happen to be in front of the TV when this happens and you haven't seen Billy Bob Thornton's only good role besides Karl Childers in Sling Blade, do yourself a favor—plop down and watch, if only for his interactions with Thurman Merman.
