I may say I drink coffee for the taste, but the real reason is that, ever since Rachael Kirschnebaum's middle school co-ed slumber party, I've been terrified of going to sleep. (And not just 'cause I thought that beast Jessica Krinski was gonna' try and put the moves on me.)
No! It's been Freddy Krueger and his demonic, Freudian wrath that has kept me awake all these years.
Now Freddy is back and, based on this teaser trailer, I am optimistic about the fresh start this franchise is getting. Say what you will about Zach Snyder's controversial Watchmen (I mostly liked it), but even the loudest nay-sayers agreed he kicked ass. He looks terrifying as Freddy - even with that ridiculous sweater.
