Zelda: What We Learned

Saving up for college? A car? A home? Just go break some stuff. If we've learned anything from Zelda, its that you can go from rags to riches by breaking a hundred or so pots. Everyone keeps their life savings in jars and bottles and, as a bonus, they couldn't care less if you take it all, even if it's right in front of their faces. Honestly, people are just happy to help.

If your neighbors next door are getting a little loud for your liking, just go check up on them. A building is a building and there's no reason you shouldn't be able to walk into someone's private residency. If you're curious about something, have a lookski. Chances are nothing is locked, no one will acknowledge you being there unless you talk to them first and you might find some cool stuff.

Chances are they have some pots that need breaking too.

There's been over 20 or so Zelda titles and, while some are sequels or prequels to other games, each game usually features a brand new Link who discovers that he is The Chosen One; the legendary hero that will use the Triforce to thwart evil. That's a lot of reincarnation. You know what? Chances are there's someone floating around your neighborhood who could be the new chosen one. Actually, chances are you are the chosen one. What are the odds?

Be nice to animals, or may Farore, Nayru and Din have mercy on your soul. Not only does being nice to cows, horses and other animals offer countless benefits, but if you piss off a chicken, you're as good as dead. Treat a chicken like you would your own family, because they will find you. They will find you and eat your face. Think it's fun messing around with them? News flash: they're invincible and they have lots and lots of back up.
