The second is basically a higher budget remake of the first movie, but both are high points of director Robert Rodriguez's career, mixing gunplay, guitars, and sex in a heady mix of violent fun. You know, they say if you play both movies side by side, they don't match up at all. True story.
Resident Evil |
Way better than you expect, this zombie action trilogy stars Milla Jovovich as Alice, a cloned kicker of zombie butts. The stunts are silly, the zombies are rarely scary, but each movie works in the best B-movie tradition: they're just fun to watch.
Wallace & Gromit: The Complete Collection |
Though not quite complete (it's missing the superb Wallace & Gromit feature film), it's still a must have for Aardman's quirky duo. The Blu-ray set includes all the shorts, as well as looks at the animation process - all in 1080p HD.
