Export DXF options.

documentNote: Some CAD systems may not read newer DXF files; ACE outputs an optimized DXF file that is compatible with most systems.

documentNote: If you require a Flat DXF file without blocks, check option "Flatten Hierarchy" (may cause extremely large DXF files).

documentNote: To create a DXF file with re-entrant polygons check option "Flatten Composite" (may be time consuming).

Export DXF Options:

dxf_export

Text Output:

Specify how to output DXF text (if any):

Standard: Text will be outputted as DXF text.

Ignore: Text will be omitted from the DXF file.

Explode: Text will be exploded, and output as polygons.

Create Outlines for Wide Polylines:

Create polygon outlines for all paths.

Flatten Hierarchy:

Outputs DXF files without any hierarchy.  Useful for DXF files that must be read into older systems, or 3d simulation software that does not support hierarchy.

Flatten Composite:

Converts a Polygon with holes (ie. clear areas) into re-entrant polygons.  (Due to its complexity, this feature may be time consuming during the conversion)

Fill Option:

For documentation purposes it can be desired to have the DXF file appear exactly the same as a gerber file (i.e. filled polygons, composites).

None:  Export with Gemotries, No Filling (Default)

Using Solid Hatch:  Export with Geometries, Fill using Solid Hatch

Using Solid Hatch (Only): Export No Geometries, Fill using Solid Hatch

Using Multiple Solids: Export Geometries, Fill using solid triangles

Using Multiple Solids (Only): Export No Gemotries, Fill using solid triangles
