We came here for a Mo Pitney/T. Graham Brown concert. I had never heard of this venue before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We did have a hard time finding it and then an even harder time figuring out where to park. Once inside though, the theatre is lovely. The seats are fairly comfortable and arranged so that if you are tall you’ve still got some room. The only negative was that for the meet and greet you had to go outside to get to the dressing rooms in the basement and if you had a walker (as our friend did) or are in a wheelchair (as the lady seated behind us) it’s either difficult or impossible to access the basement and add to that the fact that it was raining. Newnan is a great place to raise a family. Only 25 minutes from the airport makes a great place to live if you are in the airline industry or travel for work. Newnan has shopping, two hospitals (Piedmont Newnan and Cancer Treatment Centers of America’s). Access to healthcare is great, the downtown Newnan area is actively growing and has small specialty shops, farmers markets on Saturday’s and a dozen or so restaurants. Very good schools, plenty of family entertainment and the cost of living makes Newnan one of the better options around Atlanta. … Niche.com
I would like to see less traffic. Newnan can be good and bad. The schools are ok. However, newnan has featured a special group of students. At times traffic can be unbearable and they are always building new homes. The commute to a local store isn’t bad. However, you will consistently see people you know. …. Niche.com
We walked around the Newnan Square Area. There are shops and restaurants in the area. It was very clean and I enjoyed the ceramic (?) animals that were placed there in support of a charity I believe. They were colorful and cute. The best part is free parking!!! … TripAdvisor.com
Newnan is a good friendly town to live in. Newnan is big enough to where you meet new people, but it is also small enough where you know a lot of people as well. Downtown Newnan has a nice warm and cozy feeling to it, with all of the shops and old homes that date back to the civil war. Newnan is also becoming a popular place for movies to film, so that is always interesting to see which celebrity is in town. … Niche.com
