According to the 3188 numbered Taxation Rent Law, the right of owners to 5% of that tax, that is 5% = 125 TL. This tax is to be paid to the Ministry of Finance.

The average value of expropriation of a property in Turkey is around 1.000 TL/m2, for example for 100 m2. the initial right value can be calculated as 100.000 TL.

Law Allowing Real Estate Sales Contracts to Be Concluded Before Notary Public Is Published

The French Ministry of Justice has published a law allowing real estate sales contracts to be concluded before a notary public.

The new law, which will come into effect on 1 January 2017, will allow property buyers and sellers to agree on a sale without the need to go through a notary public.

However, the law stipulates that the notary public must be notified of the sale within 10 days of the contract being signed.

The notary public will then have 10 days to register the sale with the local land registry.

The aim of the new law is to make the process of buying and selling property in France simpler and faster. It is hoped that this will boost the country’s stagnant property market.

Critics of the new law argue that it could lead to more disputes between buyers and sellers, as there will be no independent third party to oversee the contract.

Only time will tell if the new law will be a success or not.
