You can unrecord an operation if you need to make changes to that operation or to the sequence of operations in your work order.
Unrecord operations you've previously recorded in a work order in the following circumstances:
Note: By default, the Quantity to Return is populated with the number of components used in the number of items you're unrecording.

Go back to the Work Order Detail page and click Record to re-record this operation with correct information.
The following table lists the fields that Kenandy provides. Your system administrator selects the fields that are displayed on your user interface.

The number of assemblies you previously recorded as complete for this operation. |
| Bin |
Enter the bin you're uncompleting from. Bin is mandatory if the Complete-to location of the work order is bin-tracked. |
| Hours to Unconsume | Enter the number of hours you want to unrecord for this operation. |
| Item Attributes | Attributes such as lot number, color, size, shape, and others that are tracked for this assembly. |
| Quantity to Uncomplete | Enter the number of assemblies you want to uncomplete this operation for. |

The lot number of this component, if this component is tracked by lot. |
| Material Tracking |
The Material Tracking record number for this component. This number is automatically generated when you release a work order and material tracking records are generated for each component. |
| Putaway Location |
The location in your facility where you put away this component. |
| Quantity Allocated |
The number of this component that you've allocated to this work order. This value comes from the Allocate page you access from Work Order Detail. |
| Quantity Available |
The amount of this component available for you to return. The Quantity Available comes from the recorded operation you're unrecording. |
| Quantity Completed | Valid for Byproducts only. |
| Quantity Issued |
The amount of this component that's been issued to this work order. This value changes when you record the Quantity Issued in the Component Issue tab of the Record Operations page. |
| Quantity Required |
The number of this component needed to complete this work order. The Quantity Required equals the number of components required by the item specification times the number of assembly items specified in the work order. |
| Quantity Scrapped |
The number of this component that you've recorded as scrapped by or in this work order. |
| Quantity Short |
The number of this component that needs to be issued to complete this work order. The Quantity Short is equal to the Quantity Required minus Quantity Issued. |
| Quantity to Return |
Enter the amount of this component you're recording as returned. The default value equals Quantity Available. If you're returning a different amount, change the value here. |
| Quantity Used |
The number of this component that you've recorded as used by an operation. Backflush components are automatically recorded as used when you issue them. |
| Rental |
Tells you whether or not this component is rented. |
| Return to WIP |
Tells you whether or not you're returning this component to WIP or to stock. To return this component to WIP, select the checkbox. To return this component to stock, clear the checkbox. |

Tells you whether or not this component is used. |

A byproduct created by this operation. This Item comes from the Item specification, where It is listed as a Component of type Byproduct. |
| Location |
Enter the Location in your facility where you store this byproduct after you've manufactured it. The Location is mandatory here. |
| Lot Number |
The lot number of this byproduct, if this byproduct is tracked by lot. |
| Material Tracking |
The Material Tracking record number for this component. This number is automatically generated when you release a work order and material tracking records are generated for each component. |
| Quantity | Enter the amount of byproducts you want to uncomplete. |
| Rental |
Tells you whether or not this byproduct is rented. |
| Stocking UOM |
The UOM (unit of measure) of the byproduct you're recording. |
| Used |
Tells you whether or not this byproduct is used. |

Enter the amount of this component you're recording as returned. The default value equals Quantity Available. If you're returning a different amount, change the value here. |

The number of this component that you've recorded as used by an operation. [What changes this value when you're working on the Issue from WIP tab?] |
| Rental |
Tells you whether or not this component is rented. |
| Used |
Tells you whether or not this component is used. |
