You set up currencies to facilitate recognizing transactions in multiple monetary units. The company that is associated with a source document, such as a sales order, determines the default transaction currency for the source document. You can change this default transaction currency to another currency. You associate a default transaction currency with a company on the Companies page. You create the currencies to associate with companies on the Currencies page.

After you create currencies, you might create exchange rates for the currencies. To learn more, see Exchange Rates.
The following table lists the fields that Kenandy provides. Your system administrator selects the fields that are displayed on your user interface.

| Auto number |
An auto-generated ID that identifies the currency. |
| Currency | The description of the currency (for example, American dollars or Indian rupees). |
| Currency Name |
The name of the currency. The currency name is frequently the same as the ISO code for the currency. |
| ISO Code | The ISO (International Organization for Standardization) code for the currency (for example, USD for American dollars or INR for Indian rupees). |
