YOURCONDUCTONBOARD
Inaccordancewith International Law, the
Captain is incommandof theaircraft and
everypersononboard shall obeyhisor
her lawful commands. TheCaptainhas
theauthority to takeanyactionsdeemed
necessary tomanagepassengerswhoare
disruptiveor causeproblemsduringflights.
Ourprimaryconcern is for thewell-being
and safetyof all ourpassengersandcrew.
Wehaveazero-tolerancepolicywith regard
topassengerswhoareverballyorphysically
disruptive towardsanyotherpersonon
board theaircraft. Inall cases thecrewwill
put the safetyof theaircraft, crewandother
passengersfirst. Theywill follow the relevant
safetyproceduresandnotify theauthorities.
SAFETYEQUIPMENT
It isanoffence to tamperwithor remove
anysafetyequipmentonboard thisaircraft,
including the lifevests.Anysuchactionsmay
jeopardize thesafetyofotherpassengersand
lead toprosecution. Lifevests for infantsare
availableandprovidedwheneverflyingover
water.Pleasehand in infant lifevestandseatbelt
tocabincrewbefore leaving theaircraft.
SAFESTOWAGEOFYOURHANDBAGGAGE
Pleaseensure that your cabinbaggage
remains safely stowed for take-off, landing
andat any timeas instructedby thecrew.
Place small bagsunder the seat in frontof you
(unlessyouare seated inanemergencyexit
row); larger itemsmustgo in theoverhead
lockers. Placeyourbag securely in the locker
and takecarewhenopening lockers, as falling
itemsmay injure fellowpassengers.
SHARP ITEMS
If youneed todisposeof any sharp items
(i.e. hypodermicneedle), pleasecontact a

ELECTRONICDEVICES
Inaccordancewith International CivilAviation
Authority safety regulations, theuseof
devices formessaging, callsor internet access
must remain switchedoffonce theaircraft
doorsareclosed. Somedevicescanbeused
during theflight (when the seatbelt signhas
been switchedoff), these include:

Bluetoothdevices, excluding telephones.

Devices (includingPDAsand smartphones)
that havea ‘flight-safe’mode, provided this is
enabledbefore theaircraftdoorsareclosed.
Deviceswithout ‘flight-safe’modewill need to
be switchedoffduring theflight. Youmight
beasked to switchoffyourdevicesbycabin
crewduring lowvisibilityoperation.

Laptopsand tabletPCs including thosewith
built-inWLAN/WiFi, provided theWLAN/
WiFi is switchedoffprior to thedoorsbeing
closed.

Electronicgames, eBooks,MP3s, DVDand
CDplayers, provided that anyWLAN/WiFi is
switchedoffprior to thedoorsbeingclosed.
If indoubt, pleasekeepdevices switched
off for thedurationof theflight as theymay
interferewithour systems.
Yourdevice shouldbe secured inyour handor
seatpocketduring taxi and take-off,while in
flight andwhen landing.

TURBULENCEMANAGEMENT
Turbulencecanoftenoccur unexpectedly.
While seatbelt signsareonduring theflight
wekindlyaskourpassengers to follow
cabincrew instructions, remain seated, keep
seatbelts fastened, stowaway laptopsand
other largeelectronicdevices.
MEDICALSUPPLIESONBOARD
Foryournextflightwithus,wekindly
recommend thatyoudetermine the reasonable
quantityofmedical supplies tocoveruse in-
flight, aswell aspossibledelays. The remainder
shouldbepacked in thechecked-in luggage.
It isalsoadvised tohavea letter fromyour
doctorconfirming thenameand typeof
medicationbeingcarried,withprescribed
doses. The letter shouldstatewhat the
medication is forandanyothermedical items
required. Forexample, syringesorEpiPens,
thatmightotherwisebequestionedby local
securityorcustoms.Wekindly recommend
always informyourcabincrew incaseyouhave
someallergiesor illnesses.WearaMedic-Alert
braceletornecklaceandconsider toavoid
travelingalone if youhavehealthproblems.
Amedical certificateconfirmingfitness tofly
