JMT 3 rolls hydraulic plate rolls come with the same features and cost savings as our 4 rolling machines. These plates roll range in size from 6' 8" to 13' 5", with thicknesses ranging from one quarter inch to one to three eighths inches. The three roll machines feature a base induction-welded heavy duty machine with stress relieved welds. The side rolls are electronic positioned and synchronized via a plc. High end precision digital scales. Automatic roll peripheral compensation allows for optimal distribution of torque across all 3 rolls. All rolls are supported in spherical and drop-end hydraulic bearings. This allows for an easy pull out. Side rolls upto 17.4 inches in diameter are hydraulically driven, side rolls greater than 14.7 inch are standard with rectilinear guided driven with a combination planetary and hydraulic gear boxes.
The combination of planetary gearboxes and hydraulic motors drives all three rolls. They provide exceptional torque, speed and distribution force to bend and roll the hardest of materials. All our plate rollers come with a strengthened machine body made of stress-relieved steel high-yield and a strengthened bearing guide system.
