JMT 3 Roll Hydraulic Plate Rolls are just as loaded with features as our 4 rolls machines but at a significant cost saving. The range of plates rolls is from 6 feet 8 inches in width to 13 feet 5 inches in capacity. They also have a thickness range between one and three quarters of an inch and one to three eights of an inch. The main features of the 3 Roll Machines are a heavy duty machine base induction welded using stress relieved welding, and side rolls that are electronically positioned are synchronized by an pc. High precision digital scales at the ends. Automatic roll peripheral speed compensation ensures the optimal distribution of torque between all three rolls. All rolls are held in spherical bearings. The top roll hydraulic opening device (drop-end) allows for an easy "pull out" system. Side rolls of up to 17.4 inches can be driven by hydraulic motors, while side rolls of greater than 14.7 inches can be driven by rectilinear guides using a combination hydraulic motors with planetary gear boxes.
