Additionally, I serve as the accessibility subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and championing inclusive design practices to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

As Creative Director at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), I managed a team of designers and accessibility specialists. I led several key initiatives, including the development of style guides and a comprehensive UI library to ensure consistency across user experiences. I integrated accessibility best practices into the software development lifecycle, ensuring all products met WCAG compliance standards. Additionally, I spearheaded the implementation of single-source online user guides, improving system efficiency and usability. I provided strategic direction for all UI/UX design efforts, with our products reaching millions of users nationwide.

As Application Developer and UI Designer at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, I was responsible for designing and developing client extranets for secure document sharing, real-time status tracking, and facilitating communication between clients and attorneys. I collaborated with clients across diverse industries, including energy, financial services, real estate, and technology, to define software requirements and design intuitive user interfaces. Additionally, I contributed to the marketing team’s efforts in redesigning the company’s award-winning website and developing its first SharePoint-powered intranet.
