Gabby's Dolphin Tours PCB is a private charter and boat tour company offering guided snorkeling and swimming with wild dolphins in gorgeous Panama City Beach, Florida. We cater to families, individuals, and groups of all sizes so everyone can have a chance at this once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Your excursion will take you to Panama City Pass. You'll also explore the area where St. Andrews Bay merges with the Gulf of Mexico. We will show how to get into the water and view dolphins up close.
In addition to observing dolphins, our dolphin and island tours visit beautiful Shell Island. Here we can explore the beach, hunt for shells, wade, swim, and, if conditions allow, snorkel in the crystal clear protected waters and observe a wide variety of marine life.
Your excursion will take in Panama City Pass and the area that St. Andrews Bay (and the Gulf of Mexico) meet. This is where dolphins are found. You will learn how to get in the sea and see them up-close.
You'll see the best of St Andrews Bay in terms of wildlife on the second leg. These include pelicans, birds like herons and ospreys, as well as marine life such a hermit crab, blue crabs or sea horses. Shell Island is the best place to look for shells and sanddollars. You can also snorkel in grass flats and explore St. Andrews Bay, along the Gulf of Mexico.
What a great idea for spending a day! We took our 22-year-old son, along with his friends, out for half the day. The pontoonboat was wonderful as was the whole day. Rob was wonderful and everyone had an amazing time.
For maximum 12 persons, we can accommodate six people on each boat. We can accommodate up 13 people in a boat.
You can snorkel all you want on your boat at no extra cost. The onboard cooler will provide complimentary Capri Suns or bottled water for your refreshments. You can also bring your own drinks, snacks, and BYOB.
You will snorkel to your satisfaction aboard our boat and YOU WON’T PAY AN EXTRA CENT! For your refreshments, the onboard cooler will have Capri Suns and/or complimentary bottled water. You are also welcome to bring your own beverages, snacks and BYOB.
If conditions permit, guests may go into the water with dolphins if possible. Safety is always our number one priority. Your captain can show you how safely to snorkel around marine mammals.
A variety of starfishes, sanddollars, bay scallops. whelks. Conchs up to 21". Seahorses. Urchins. Hermit crabs. These animals are easy to bring to the surface. They can also be photographed. We use large containers to allow snorkelers and non-snorkelers to see the animals up close before they are released into a bay. You can also take any shells you find that have not been inhabited by living creatures home.
Relax and unwind while your private USCG captain/tour guide takes you to watch some breathtaking sunsets and views that can only be seen on the water. Bring your favorite beverage & or snacks if you like while you enjoy the evening.
Snorkeling is a fun and easy activity for people of all ages. One of the best things about Shell Island is that the calm shallow water behind the jetty is ideal for first-time snorkelers.
When is the Best Time to Visit Florida to See Dolphins? The best time to see dolphins is from late May to early August. You're most likely to see them between 10 a.m. and noon, and then again between 2 p.m. and dark.
